Staff seem delighted by the arrival of any foreign visitor, breaking out copies of the English-language Nowa Huta District Guide and map, and talking visitors through whichever temporary exhibition happens to be staged in the modest space. All have a local theme, so expect posters and black-and-white photographs of heroic workers with backdrops of a Socialist paradise.
