Opened in 2006, this is one of the few hotels in Krakow to make great use of a riverside location. Immediately opposite Wawel (rooms without a castle view are about 50 z cheaper), the Poleski has a little-known restaurant whose continuous window seems to run the entire length of the Vistula. The rooms are on the comfortable side of functional, small, with standard fittings, but any sense of claustrophobia is alleviated by the top floor’s panoramic terrace.
