Planning a trip to La Baule

Getting There -- If you're driving from Nantes, take N165 northwest to Savenay and continue west along D773 to La Baule. The train trip from Nantes takes about an hour and costs 13€ one-way. The town's most convenient railway station is La Baule-Escoublac, in the heart of town. Try to avoid getting off at La Baule-Les Pins, which is 4km (2 1/2 miles) northeast of the commercial center.
