You’ll feel like you’re right on top of the volcano here, though surrounded by superbly landscaped grounds. Rooms are very large, with extremely high ceilings and a wall of windows with a sliding-glass door that opens onto a private balcony or patio with a perfect volcano view. Sadly, they’re a bit dated, with ugly floral bedspreads and a free-standing, large, in-room spa Jacuzzi, which seems to be unnecessary—the outdoor hot springs and pool are much more appealing. Guests receive free admission at the Titokú Hot Springs facility, about 6km southwest of the hotel.
