There's really not a lot of action that's of interest to tourists here. Be forewarned, much of the bar scene in Lago Agrio is dominated by oil workers, and it can be a bit rough and seedy at times. If you're looking for a drink or some late-night carousing, your best bet is to head to one of the bars along Avenida Quito.
