Set back from the road, on a small hill above a small lake, this intimate bed-and-breakfast is a swell pick. Though rooms don’t have any views to speak of, they are spacious, cheery, and creative, featuring handmade furniture, hand-painted tiles, and unique artwork. All of this handiwork was done by the owner and her triplet daughters. The handcrafted iron and steel headboards are particularly captivating, and the one in the Flower room is filled in with colored stained glass. Even better are the Butterfly and Frog rooms, which have small private balconies. There’s a nice restaurant attached.
