This Italian-owned hilltop retreat is a primo place to unwind. It’s a host to frequent yoga retreats and yoga teacher training courses. Rooms are simple but immaculate, with wood or tile floors, large windows, and a shared common lake-view veranda, with brightly varnished decking and columns made from whole tree trunks. Settle into one of the cushioned Adirondack chairs here to soak in the view or read a book. The best rooms are the private villa and the individual jungle cabins, which offer more space and a greater sense of privacy. Families or small groups can book the two-bedroom Ra Ma Da Sa house, with a full kitchen. It’s on the highest spot on the property and features an outdoor bathroom with a mosaic-tiled hot tub and waterfall shower. The expansive grounds and gardens include a nice river-stone pool, as well as a massage room in a treehouse. The hotel’s in-house restaurant, which utilizes a wood-burning oven, is a real plus, as well.
