Created by local architect César Manrique with the aim of revamping Guatiza's old quarry, this top visitor attraction boasts over 1,000 species of the spiky plant. Beautifully presented on circular terraces, some of these remarkable plants climb, some flower, some grow huge and some are downright weird. Enjoy a stroll through the gardens, check out the windmill, stop for a snack and don't miss the statues made from compact volcanic ash. The Jardín de Cactus was Manrique's last ever creation before he died in 1992.
