This bustling, split-level sidewalk bar and grill, with picnic tables spilling out into the sand and illuminated by strings of lights, was the first restaurant to open in the expanding Las Catalinas project and is still one of the core establishments. The food is simple yet hearty and well prepared, with whole fried red snapper, burgers, and fish tacos. It has a juice and cocktail bar as well, with a long list of creations that utilize local fruits and herbs. Also, if you catch a fish out at sea, they’ll cook it for you. There are hammocks to nap in after your meal, plus games for kids and live music on some nights.
