Well, thank goodness! Vegas without the premiere ABBA musical just wasn’t the same. After playing for more than five years at Mandalay Bay, the hit show took a hiatus, but is back in a new incarnation at the Trop. The recently redone showroom is nice enough, but you don’t care about that—you came for the songs from the disco-era super group like “SOS,” “Take a Chance on Me,” and “Dancing Queen,” all of which and more are woven into a fairly silly story about a woman reuniting with three of her long-lost loves on a Greek island. It’s a lightweight romp in all of the best and worst ways; completely enjoyable if you’re willing to go with it but also completely forgettable the second you leave the theater. Shows are Sunday through Thursday at 7:30pm and Saturday at 5:30 and 9pm.
