The Asian bites are why we come here. Steamed barbecue pork buns are soft, sweet, and savory; shell-on salt and pepper shrimp are crunchy and eaten whole; and for whatever reason, we can’t stop eating the pot stickers. We also like the off-the-beaten path Mexican selections, like the shredded pork carnitas and Laredo beans with rice. Everything else is about average, but the setting is unusually pleasant with a view of the pool (great people watching) and lots of natural light (there’s nothing more uncomfortable than dozens of people binge eating in a stuffy space).
