A 3-minute walk from the centre of Lech, Hotel Schmelzhof is located in a picturesque mountain setting. The ski slopes and the Rüfikopfbahn Cable Car are 400 metres away and can be reached with a free hotel shuttle. Free WiFi is available in the entire Schmelzhof. As of December 2014, the newly designed restaurant serves traditional Austrian cuisine and international dishes, as well as a wide selection of fine wines. Guests can relax on the sun terrace or in front of the fireplace in the lobby. For relaxation, a spa area with different saunas, an infrared cabine and a steam bath is provided on site. Massage treatment rooms, a relaxation room and a fitness room will also be available from December 2014 on. There is also a children’s play room, and child care and babysitting are offered. The rooms are individually furnished and colourfully decorated. They overlook the mountains and feature cable TV, a minibar, and a bathroom with bathrobes and hairdryer. Some also have a balcony. Ski passes can be bought on site, and there is a ski storage room available. In good snow conditions, the slopes end right at the hotel’s doorstep. Hiking trails and cross-country ski runs start right outside. Guided hikes are offered once a week in summer. The restaurant is then open on 4 days a week and serves traditional and Mediterranean dishes in the dining room and on the terrace, In summer, the Active Inclusive Card is included in the rate. This card comprises many free benefits and discounts, including free use of cable cars and buses.
