Despite its modest size, Leiria has plenty of nightlife, both high energy and laid-back. We usually begin with a promenade along Largo Cândido dos Reis, which is lined with small tascas (taverns). If you're looking for something more substantial, try the well-upholstered Eurosol Bar, in the Hotel Eurosol, Rua Dom José Alves Correia da Silva (tel. 24/484-98-49). In a setting lined with unusual art, you can drink or flirt (or both) to your heart's content.
