Tériade Museum
Tériade, who was born Stratis Eleftheriades, left Lesvos for Paris in 1915, westernized his name, and established himself as the publisher of the avant-garde art journals Minotaure and Verve. He collected and published works by many of the great artists of the early 20th century. Through these associations the museum is hung with lithographs, drawings and paintings by Picasso, Matisse, Giacometti, and many, many others.
