Think Amazonian tiki bar. While Tierras Amazónicas may seem a bit kitschy—there’s a thatched roof, colorful paintings of jaguars, and wood carvings of pirarucus—it’s still the most interesting restaurant in Leticia. Regional cuisine is the focus here (and not a lot of other places follow suit), so you’ll find dishes like fish steamed in bijao leaves, mojojoy (grilled palm grubs), and grilled piranha. Wash it all down with fresh juices like camu-camu or copuazu.
