First Hotel Breiseth, one of Lillehammers oldest hotels, is located within easy walking distance of the pedestrian area of the city. The train and bus station are only 110 yards from the hotel. First Hotel Breiseth is associated with the early 20th century colony of artists known as the Lillehammer Painters, whose works adorn the hotel. The comfortable guest rooms exude a classical, old-world charm and all are non-smoking and allergy-friendly. Two rooms are suitable for disabled guests and all offer a private bathroom, telephone, mini-bar, cable TV with movie channels and internet access throughout. Breiseth's conference facilities host up to 100 participants. There are also 4 breakout rooms. Apart from winter sports, Lillehammer is also known for its open-air heritage museum.
