Overshadowed by the brand's much larger, newer, and more extravagant Westin hotel, the San Isidro remains an oldie but a goodie. It's also a great value if all you want is a comfortable place to rest your head in a prime location (near the esteemed Lima Golf Club and far-pricier Country Club hotel). The narrow, 13-floor building is decorated with modern art and kilim rugs. The rooms, whose electronics have been updated (iPod docks, flat-screens, DirecTV), otherwise suffer from furniture and carpets that are quite dated. All common amenities are on the ground floor, including a quiet restaurant, English-style pub, and small workout room.
