Upstairs in the Granola Triangle of Neal’s Yard, above the excellent homeopathic dispensary Neal’s Yard Remedies, this popular and packed place serves plant-based fare that’s truly flavorful at prices Covent Garden left behind: olive and shiitake burgers, pine-nut quinoa with horseradish tahini, and raw chocolate as a component in some very impressive desserts. At peak mealtimes, there may be a bunch-up at the door (no reservations). Don’t be daunted; wait for a communal seat whether it’s at the bar or at a table. It’s some of the best vegan food you’ll find in the city, even if its crunchy self-image as a “well-being oasis” is a little too earnest.
