This Dutch fashion house, which celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2013, started out when children’s clothing was a scaled-down version of adult fashions. Its Crayola colors, playful florals and designs borrowed from cultures around the world won over celebrity moms and dads such as John Travolta, Madonna and Michael Jackson, and now kids all over town sport the colorful duds. Once exclusively for girls and boys, the line has added mom’s fashions, cosmetics, and even bikes and combination stroller-buggies over the years.
