Planning a trip to Los Pueblos Blancos

Getting There

Though it's easiest to see the pueblos by rental car, frequent buses do shuttle around the region, albeit at a slow pace and not passing through every town. Buses leave daily from Mercado Municipal in Masaya, Mercado Huembes in Managua, and 1 block south of Granada's market. Expreso buses pass through the Pueblos Blancos every 40 minutes Monday through Friday, but less frequently on weekends. The Intur office in Masaya offers good maps of the region.
