Most of the restaurants are clustered along Krakowskie Przedmiescie on the approach to the Old Town or in the Old Town itself, particularly on sloping Grodzka Street. Many of these places seem to specialize in the same mix of pizzas and sandwiches, and, with a few exceptions, they are fairly ordinary. In summer, it's best to show up a little early on a nice evening (6-7pm) to maximize your chances of snagging one of the highly coveted outdoor tables.
