Viva Madrid
Established in 1856, Viva Madrid has long had one the city’s most inviting façades, an exuberantly tiled exterior advertising a range of refreshments. In 2018 the celebrated mixologist Diego Cabrera reinvented the famous bar as one of Madrid’s hottest spots, with an appealing mix of vintage and contemporary décor, fabulous cocktails including alcohol-free options, and unusual fusion tapas. Try croquetas on a crisp lettuce leaf, spicy roast cauliflower, or a gooey oxtail bao bun. And look out for regular live music.
