Getting There & Around -- Minori is on the SS 163, between Amalfi and Vietri, west of Maiori. In addition to the bus from Amalfi, you can take a taxi or car from Amalfi or Positano. The town is small enough to explore on foot, but you can get a taxi at the harbor (or call tel. 089-877435). To explore by sea, you can rent motorboats and sailboats at Noleggio, Via Marte 3 (tel. 089-852149 or 335-5443010; www.amalficharter.it).

The pharmacy (tel. 089-877200) is on Corso Vittorio Emanuele, but the closest hospital is in Salerno. For an ambulance, dial tel. 118. For the police, call tel. 113 or 112. Special Events -- A number of festivals and events take place in summer. The much-acclaimed summer music festival enlivens the town's cultural scene, and the Associazione Musical Costiera Amalfitana hosts the annual Jazz on the Coast (tel. 338-4076618; www.jazzonthecoast.it) festival in July.
