Hotel Croatia
On a small square set back from the seafront in Baška Voda, this stone building dates to 1911, first opened as a hotel in 2008 after a complete renovation. The 18 rooms are smart and spacious, with strand-woven bamboo flooring and the possibility of adding extra beds for children. The staff lays out a fantastic buffet breakfast, which guests can eat under the big white umbrellas on the patio out front. Plenty of beaches and restaurants are within easy walking distance.
