Make sure your tray table is in the upright and locked position if you stay in the converted Boeing 727 that serves as a two-bedroom suite here, with the nose appearing to be flying straight out of the rainforest. Most of the rooms in this sprawling complex are found in two tall buildings (one for families, one adults only), featuring large balconies with wonderful rainforest and ocean views. The studio and studio-plus rooms all have kitchenettes and flatscreen TVs. Not all rooms have air-conditioning or televisions, and some can be quite a hike to the main restaurant, so be sure to check before making your choice. The hotel has a series of trails, one of which leads to the beach. It’s about a 10-minute walk, but because the complex is located on a steep hillside, the return trip from the beach can be strenuous. Breakfast is served at the main hotel complex, and there are three restaurants across the street.
