This boutique resort occupies a privileged position on a high ridge about midway between Quepos and the Manuel Antonio National Park. Upon arrival you’ll be drawn to the jutting triangular lookout point just off the lobby. It’s all dense rainforest below, with spectacular views of the Pacific. You’ll enjoy the same view from most of the rooms, almost all of which feature private balconies. Monkey sightings are quite common here. There are two restaurants, two pools (one is adults only, the other has a fun little waterslide for the kids), and an air-conditioned theater with nightly movie showings. Additionally, they operate an entire tour network and own a butterfly atrium across the street. Sí Como No’s friendly and ever-present owner, Jim Damalas, was an early leader in sustainable tourism in Costa Rica and the hotel was awarded “5 Leaves” in the CST Certification for Sustainable Tourism program.
