The main strip along Hlavní trída is lined with incredibly grand-looking hotels, many with rooms facing the Kolonáda. But don't be deceived by appearances. Many of the hotels are far more impressive on the outside than they are on the inside. Most of the hotels, in fact, are filled with spa patients and have an atmosphere more akin to an upscale hospital.
The best bet is simply to stroll along Hlavní trída and shop around for a room. You'll likely end up with a better deal.
Also, don't be confused by the room rates. Many of the hotels have complicated pricing menus that include spa treatments and board that you may not want or need. To add to the confusion, many properties break with Czech tradition and list prices per person (not per room). Ask the receptionist for an all-in price before agreeing to take the room.
There is paid parking on the street along Hlavní, and most of the hotels will have their own paid lots.
