Menemsha Inn & Cottages
This is a casual down-to-earth place, a far cry from the touristy part of the Vineyard. It’s a brisk quarter-mile walk from this 25-acre estate to the center of the fishing village of Menemsha. But mostly a stay here is about getting away from it all. The Carriage House and the Tea House have 15 rustic rooms; the large stone fireplace in the Carriage House is a gathering spots for guests to plan their day. The mainstay suite is by itself, above the reception area in the inn’s main building. In addition, there are 12 Sea View Cottages of one or two bedrooms, with kitchens, wood-burning fireplaces, and great views of Menemsha Harbor.
