These large, secluded units—cozily set around an oceanfront pool in a lush tropical setting—have fabulous views of Honokeana Cove. The beach here isn’t sandy (it’s composed of smooth round rocks), but the water just offshore is excellent for snorkeling (turtles have been spotted here) and for whale-watching in winter. The well-appointed units all come with full kitchens and lanai; some have air-conditioning, but ceiling fans and tradewinds also cool units nicely. Amenities include barbecues, deck chairs, and tiki torches lit every evening. The management holds weekly pupu (appetizers) parties so you can meet the other guests. All in all, a well-priced option in an expensive neighborhood.
