Located just outside Lahaina, about a mile up the West Maui Mountains from Launiupoko Beach Park, this six-bedroom, solar-powered bed-and-breakfast is constructed and furnished with materials and furniture from Bali, but the views are all Maui, including cloud-topped Lanai across the channel. The atmosphere is relaxing, the rooms are decorated with traditional Bali doors and custom beds, there’s a private lanai, and the big bathrooms have huge tubs and outdoor showers. The Kohola and Nalu rooms have the best ocean views; all come with flatscreen TVs, mini-fridges, and individual A/C plus ceiling fans. The property also has a small swimming pool. Continental breakfast includes vegan breads and muffins (gluten-free by advance request), cereal, granola, hard-boiled eggs, and tropical fruit, including some picked from the house orchard (mango, papaya, banana, and more.)
