At the north end of Lahaina, right on the water, is this turquoise-blue, two-story apartment complex. You can’t miss the mermaid fountain decorating the parking lot. Each of the eclectically furnished units is small (averaging 400 sq. ft.) but clean, with a full kitchen with a gas stove. Rooms don’t have phones or TVs, but most have views of the ocean with Molokai in the distance. This funky, U-shape “inn” surrounds a tropical garden frequented by colorful Java sparrows. The largish Paradise Found unit on the southern corner has a private lanai that overlooks the Pacific on two sides. There’s no beach access here, but the Lahaina Cannery Mall and several great restaurants are a short walk away.
