A 10-minute walk from the city, this interesting hotel resembles a terrace building from the outside, but inside it’s a maze of corridors and rooms. It has a real B&B feel to it, and the staff is friendly. The least expensive economy rooms have two single beds, a wardrobe, and a hand basin; there’s barely enough room to swing a backpack, and the bathroom is down the hallway. Standard rooms are light and spacious, with double or twin beds as well as en suite bathrooms. The 15 or so family rooms have double beds and two singles. It has a 24-hour reception desk, free luggage-storage facilities, a guest laundry, and free use of the safety deposit boxes. Check the hotel’s website for really good deals.
