Not only is A Braijade situated on rue Longue, the atmospheric Old Town street that once connected Provence with Rome. It also serves the most wow-factor cuisine in the area. Dishes are mostly based around a brochette vertical flambée—or flaming vertical kebab. Sample skewers of seabass with aioli, prawns with pesto, and marinated lamb from the Provençal hills. The myriad of set menus (five at last count) combine wine, dessert, coffee, and palate-cleansing sorbets between courses. Bags of fun.
