The name doesn’t lie: This is rather a trippy hotel, round in shape, with echoes of dance clubs in its decor (think lots of mirrors). In the guest rooms, the postmodern furnishings are made from oxidized wrought iron that’s locally crafted (they’re bright green and quirky, but in a fun way). Floors are marble, and ceiling-to-floor windows flood the rooms with light. The family rooms come complete with bunk beds your children are sure to love. This being a conference hotel, location isn’t its strong point; it’s a good 15-minute walk west of the historic center on the opposite bank of the Guadiana River. Note: Rooms on the fourth floor have whirlpools and spacious terraces.
