Big windows provide splendid views, and the kitchen serves up the best food in the park at this casually elegant restaurant. It specializes in ancestral Puebloan–inspired dishes, using wild game, corn, squash, and beans; as well as variations on contemporary favorites. Specialties include our top choice, the mixed grill, which might include elk or wild turkey in a red chile cilantro demi glace; the elk shepherd's pie with roasted corn and black beans; or the pan seared blue corn and pine nut dusted trout. There are also vegetarian items. Reservations aren’t accepted, so get there early during high season.
