A homey restaurant and hotel (also known as the The Galaxy), right on the main square, it's in the center of whatever action Metsovo has to offer. The restaurant serves hearty local specialties, spit roasts, and traditional pastas. Especially good are such regional faves as trachana (bean soup) and cheese pie with leek; for an entree try the spicy sausage or beef patties with leeks and celery baked in a pot. There's no better accompaniment for the meal than the local red wine, Katoyi.
