Part of a chain with six hotels in Milan and the excellent Townhouse 70 in the middle of Turin, the Townhouse aims to provide chic luxury accommodation at moderate prices and certainly succeeds in doing just that. The contemporary rooms have muted colors and lots of space—not to mention luscious marble bathrooms—but the real selling point here is the cute, romantic courtyard garden, just perfect for a summer evening. As in all the Townhouse hotels, the plentiful buffet breakfast is eaten at one large, communal table; free newspapers are supplied if you’re not up to talking first thing in the morning.
