Founded way back in 1824, Pasticceria Marchesi is Milan's most revered chocolatier, serving classy hand-made confectionery alongside puffy meringues, elegant pastries, and extravagantly decorated tortes. The marble pillars, glass display cases, and brass-topped counters may be original, but Marchesi has marched with time, and new taste combinations and designs pour out of the kitchens daily.
