Walking into this modern hotel, you might be forgiven if you momentarily feel like you've stepped into a hunting lodge "up north." The main lobby has some nice exposed wood beams and the warm colors (forest green and deep burgundy) of the sofas and chairs are inviting. Guests will appreciate the access to the Skyway, the Nicollet Mall, and Target Center Arena. The rooms are well-kept, even if they're a bit on the conventional side. Although you won't find much beyond the norm in the lodging, several rooms with fireplaces are available. The hotel offers milk and cookies for all guests at 10pm, which is a nice way to say goodnight. For folks driving into the city, parking is available on-site for $8 a day.
