Hawaiian homesteaders Kammy and Tuddie Purdy offer free tours in the shade of their 100-year-old macadamia nut orchard. Tuddie is a wealth of information and aloha. After an educational spin around the family farm, he’ll ply you with samples of delicious nuts—raw, salted, or air-dried—and macadamia blossom honey. Whatever you can’t stuff in your suitcase can be shipped home.
