Little Louis’ Oyster Bar
When you drive up to Little Louis’, don’t be thrown by the neighborhood, which is a bit industrial. Once you get upstairs and into the elegant restaurant, the exterior will be forgotten. And Louis’ has been serving up some of the finest food in Moncton, if not the Maritimes, for several years now. It has an exemplary oyster selection, along with fish plucked straight from the briny deep and a hand-made pappardelle pasta with butter poached lobster that could easily invoke tears of joy. Meat eaters are also well taken care of with expertly grilled steaks, braised lamb shank with squash risotto, and cocoa butter seared venison with walnut/bacon crumble and poached pears. This restaurant was recently awarded Four Diamond Restaurant status by AAA/CAA, and deservedly so.
