The Holiday Inn SunSpree is one of the cheapest all-inclusives in Jamaica—and very family friendly. Kids 12 and under stay, play, and eat for free (ages 13–17 pay $75 per night), there’s a supervised kids vacation club and a games room/arcade, and one of the categories of rooms is a “KidsSuite,” with a king-sized bed and the usual amenities in the main room, plus a semi-separate, colorful kids room with a bunk bed, TV with kid-friendly channels, and a play table. (Not that the adults aren’t catered to as well; there is a adult-only pool with a swim-up bar.)

The resort was expanded in 2009–10 and renovated in 2014, the rooms done in a sort of tropical take on the classic Holiday Inn look, with balconies or patios and a price structure tied to size and how much sea view you get (none in “Standard” rooms; partial in “Superior;” and full in “Deluxe” double or suites)—and remember, you can use accrued IHG Rewards Club point to book here. In addition to the standard buffet and pool grill are specialty restaurants for Italian, gourmet, and a new Japanese Teppanyaki joint.
