A solid motel, the Coloton Inn's best lure is its unusually nice and helpful staff. Rooms are cookie cutter motel, and a bit dark, but they've chosen bright colors and do have cheery, if mass-produced, art on the walls.  And they're spotless and feature very good beds, a fridge and a microwave. While the hotel doesn't have a pool, it does feature a dray sauna and a terrace.  Its location is a bit odd: away from the other motels, in a more residential area of town (near some of Monterey's historic buildings) but that keeps things quiet.
