This Navajo-owned hotel inside Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park is the only hotel inside the park. As such, it should be your first choice for accommodations in the area. With the park's most famous and picturesque buttes right outside the windows, you need do nothing more than sit back and watch the play of light on red-rock pinnacles. The rooms themselves are comfortable enough, though little better than standard freeway off-ramp motel rooms. What you're paying for here is the view, not the room itself. The same is true of the restaurant, which constantly disappoints.
