Getting There

To reach Mount Baker ski area (and Heather Meadows and Artist Point in the summer), head east from Bellingham on Wash. 542 (the Mount Baker Hwy.). The North Cascades Scenic Highway is Wash. 20, and it leaves I-5 at Burlington.
