Mousehole -- The most substantial meals are served at the restaurant of the Ship Inn. If you're looking for a quick bite, head for Pam's Pantry, 3 Mill Lane (tel. 01736/731532), a small, cheerful cafe that specializes in locally caught fish. Accepting cash only, this hole in the wall features Newlyn crab in salads, soups, and well-stuffed sandwiches. You can also stop in for a Cornish cream tea for £5, with main courses going for £5 to £12. Sandwiches to go and pizzas are also sold. Our favorite dessert is the homemade apple pie with clotted cream. Pam's is open daily 9am to 6:30pm.
