Located near the Asamkirche and Viktualenmarkt, this efficient, modern hotel is a little south of the historic center, but it’s just a hop and a skip from the well-connected Sendlinger Tor U-Bahn stop, and it’s also quite a good value, cost-wise. The rooms are fairly small, with simple, comfortable furnishings—in most cases, a wood-trimmed bed, desk, and chair in a functional if uninspiring decor. But they have nice little balconies and are kept spotlessly clean. Bathrooms are compact and have showers. For a quieter room, request one that faces the courtyard.
