Chef Nobi Matsuhisa, the man behind acclaimed Nobu restaurants around the world, opened the first and only German outpost of his Matsuhari restaurant here in Munich in 2015. Cuisine is primarily Japenese and Peruvian, but a slew of additional South American and Asian influences, often incorporated into inventive sushi and sashimi options, pop up depending on the season. In addition to the restaurant’s signature Black Cod, expect anything from tuna, salmon, or lobster tacos to jalapeno-infused yellowfin tuna sashmi to lamb with Peruvian Anticucho sauce.
