Planning a trip to Mutters

Getting There

The Stubaitalbahn tram (tel. 0512/530712 for information) departs from Innsbruck's Hauptbahnhof 18 times a day, bound for Fulpmes and stopping at Mutters en route (trip time: 28 min.).

Buses from Innsbruck are infrequent (1 or 2 per day) and usually require a change in Götzens, Natters, and/or Axam. Transfers, however, tend to be so complicated that many people opt for the train. For bus information, call tel. 0512/585155. The village is separated from Innsbruck by a wide green section of forest lying above the city and the Inn Valley.
