If you're looking for adult beverages on the boardwalk and some solid pub-style food, this fun-loving tiki bar does not disappoint. Get there early to get a table close to the outdoor carnival just outside the doors and order a vodka and ginger ale in a mason jar. Come on a weekday between 4 and 7pm and you'll get to check out their happy hour, which features 10 different discount appetizers and $3 well drinks. As for the other foodstuffs, the 8th Ave schnitzel is pan-fried sesame chicken with honey mustard that functions as an excellent starter. The skewers are the other standout here. They function as a meal, as they're paired with sautéed vegetables and a salad or fries. In terms of general ambiance, it's definitely beach casual, with great sunset views. As with all good tiki bars, the tropical theme is over-the-tip, with dangling paper lights shading an expansive space filled with thatch and rattan.
